In September 1999, Kathy Hedges and Jeannie Briggs Woodliff (Dan's sister)
found a cache of photos that neither had seen before. They were evidently
taken in Dan's late Renaissance Faire era (about 1987), because the kitten
he is dandling is Monster, the Abyssinian he took to Socorro the next
year. The photographer was Dan's friend, Susan Chandler.
