Robert writes, "From what I could tell, Dan was having a nice 4th of July. He had just competed in the informal accuracy competition and won. He beat out some real hotdogs too!"
"Here, he's in the hanger, practicing juggling. I'm a juggler too, but not as experienced. I watched him for a bit and then traded places on the board. He gave me some pointers, and I was able to balance and juggle like he was. Only I was more wobbly."
"Dan then showed me some two-person juggling tricks that were really cool, and we practiced them for a bit."
"Some of my jumping buddies asked if I wanted in on a fun dive. I said sure and Dan nodded as well. Had the jump not ended as it did, I'm sure the six of us would have made several more jumps just for the practice and the fun."
"Please tell everyone that Dan did not suffer. His last jump was with five other guys who invited him along in friendship and camaraderie, shared the freedom and beauty of the sky with him, and now share in your mourning as well."
